The time span from when an accident occurs to when it is displayed on the navigation system will vary by time of the occurrence as well as location. Therefore, if your map database is out of date, you may not be able to see all of the available traffic data available as part of the XM NavTraffic service. Roadways for which traffic speed information is available are shown by color-coding to indicate directional traffic flow speed.
